Journal of the Egyptian Society of Tribology focuses on the applications of tribology in friction, lubrication and wear.  Journal of the Egyptian Society of Tribology facilitates communication and exchange of technical ideas among thousands of experts in the field of tribology-based science and technology.

Journal of the Egyptian Society of Tribology aims to publish scientific papers of high quality to provide data for scientists in the field. Written manuscripts are invited in the fields of surface engineering, contact mechanics, nanotribology, tribology, composite materials, lubricants as well as hydrodynamic lubrication.

Besides, understanding of the mechanisms of wear is aimed at developing the engineering materials. Wear modeling and validation, the development of wear testing methods, wear diagnostic tools, and the development of wear-resistant materials, coatings, or surface treatments are aimed. In addition to that, the mechanism of action of different types of lubricants is one of the scopes of the Journal of the Egyptian Society of Tribology. 

Journal of the Egyptian Society of Tribology publishes original research papers and articles in all aspects of the science of tribology (friction, wear and lubrication).

Journal of the Egyptian Society of Tribology is published quarterly in both print and online versions. The online version is free access and download.
